Brian Toomey Sensei: IJKA Ireland Chief Instructor

It was great to finally meet Brian Toomey Sensei - 6th Dan who directs Asai Karate in Ireland (IJKA Ireland Chief Instructor and IJKA World Secretary for Shuseki-Shihan Sadashige Kato). Brian Sensei attended my seminars in Germany.

He is my senpai (senior) in Karate-Do and is a hard training budoka; moreover, he is a super person with a great sense of humour! A nice connection between IJKA New Zealand, and IJKA Ireland! With very few groups in the world purely following Asai Sensei's karate-do, that is unquestionably a great thing. Domo arigato gozaimashita Brian Sensei.
